Rockabye - baby
This is a very exiting and brand new venture for us at The Wee Gooseberry. We are delighted to be able to sell this range of clothing which is very exclusive in the Uk. We usually put into words what we think of the company or a little about them, however we feel it best to just let them tell you in their own words and by all means visit their website. http://rockabye-baby.com.So the company consists of three women, all quite different quite mad and great to do business with:
Emma Parkes-McQueen (UK) Graduated from Central Saint Martins College of art and design in London and spent 8 years working between advertising, design and marketing. In 2001 she moved to Holland to and in 2004 she gave birth to Scarlet Tallula McQueen (face of RaBB®). Mother hood brought many new decisions one of which was not to return to the full time Ad game, but to set up something part time around her baby. She founded RABB in 2005 after meeting Penny in an advertising agency and Helen at a KinderMusik class that their babies both went to. Emma has a love for a great idea, all things kitsch and real music that you forget yourself in. In her next life she will come back as the love child offspring of Slash and Blonde, will be wrapped in a chocolate shell and will dispense fine wine from the first finger from her
right hand (oh don’t you want a piece of her?)
and....
Penny Lee (UK) After studying graphic design and then doing graphic design for 5 years, Penny left Leeds in search of all things Amsterdam (and a new job). Landing in an advertising agency shortly after arriving, Penny met Emma ‘Rebel’ Parkes with bump (aka Scarlet Tallula McQueen) as Emma was freelancing
and the rest is baby rock history...
and finally.....
Helen studied languages and information systems at the University of the West of England in Bristol. She left the UK in 1993 to work
in Germany in marketing and soon after moved into management consultancy, gaining over 9 years experience with a global consultancy firm, helping improve business processes and systems for many multinational organisations based throughout Europe. Helen moved to Amsterdam in 2001 and, with the arrival
of her daughter Emma in 2004, decided to put away her suitcase and concentrate on something less travel intensive. Helen speaks fluent English, Dutch, German and a little French. Helen and
Emma love to rock and bop at the KinderMusic classes where
they met Emma Parkes and Scarlet.
